We seek a Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer to provide in-house graphics support for our marketing, public relations and project graphics.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We seek a well-organized, nimble, and creative professional to provide in-house graphic support for our marketing, public relations and project assignments. The qualified individual will primarily report to the Marketing Director, and will broadly split time 70/30 between marketing activities and broader office design and graphic support. S/he shall be highly creative, and have a solid background in graphic design, with an ability to provide a balance between working closely with teams, and being self-directed. The role is varied, and the successful candidate will be driven to establish this interesting and exciting position within the firm. S/he shall be proficient in multiple graphics programs including but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages and Keynote.

The range of tasks will typically include, but not be limited to the following:

Prepare content and graphics for RFQ/RFP responses, interviews, publications, awards, exhibitions and lectures, and recruitment program that express the philosophy and ethos of the firm.

Produce high quality layouts and coordinate content and deadlines with responsible parties.

Support project photography and maintain digital inventory of photos, artwork and other electronic marketing files

Organize and track awards applications and success. Prepare graphic content necessary to support entries

Maintain and support our website, including current graphic and written content, and online professional and social media platforms

Work with our team to develop and curate content for social media

Using established brand identity, create and maintain firm collateral necessary to support marketing and project capture efforts.

Maintain company brand and guidelines and take a proactive role in furthering and evolving the company brand and creative content.

Provide graphics support for project teams, including high quality presentations, reports and graphics for project meetings and presentations.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

The company realizes that every interested candidate might not have all of the desired experience, but here is what they are looking for in terms of experience and skills… the more you have, the better!

The range of professional skills required:

Innate curiosity and interest in problem-solving and continuous improvement

Creativity, graphic design and artistic talent and knowledge of trends, apps and digital media innovation

Create infographics to simplify complex ideas, information and approach in a visually engaging way

Well organized, detail focused, and able to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions

Strong communication skills and ability to work well with many personalities, a good listener yet confident in recommending alternative ways to communicate messages

Adaptable to meet diverse and growing needs

Professional and able to represent the practice to existing and potential clients and colleagues alike

Strong grammar, writing and editing skills a plus

Experience responding to RFI/RFQ/RFPs and minimum 2 years of AEC/real estate industry experience

A bonus skill would be the ability to research, concept and create clean and compelling signage and wall graphic design for commercial clients

 

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

All related education is a plus.
