Due to our continued growth, IFTI seeks a Key Accounts Manager to help the company to acquire, support, manage and retain long-term partnerships with quality customers. This is an inside sales position, not outside. This is more of a farmer, than a hunter position. We seek a person with very strong customer service and upselling skills.

Position Overview:
The Key Accounts Manager will have the day to day responsibilities associated with managing assigned key customers, leading an effective Account Management team, and conducting activities which meet the company’s growth targets to acquire, support, manage and retain long-term partnerships with quality customers.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Managerial Work
Recruits, hires, trains, evaluate and supervise all personnel reporting to this position. Providing formal and informal feedback and coaching on performance to achieve departmental goals.
Maintains, develops and document department policies, practices and procedures.
Responsible for guiding and supervising the resolution of customer complaints and verifying customer satisfaction.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Accountable for departmental revenue and expense performance on a monthly basis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends that could affect the company’s strategic objectives positively or negatively.

Tactical Work / Position-Specific Standards:
Retains, develops and manages long-term partnerships with assigned key accounts.
Communicates frequently with customers by telephone, email, and in person.
Executes quarterly account reviews and semi-annual Customer Meetings with assigned key accounts that accurately measures and communicates the distinguishing value of IFTI’s services.
Sells IFTI’s third-party testing and inspection services to inbound calls and executes on IFTI’s established procedures when new business opportunities are identified with current customers.
Supports Account Managers in effectively retaining, developing and managing long-term partnerships with their assigned accounts.
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel and executes company procedures for onboarding of new accounts, in order to meet performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Monitors Departmental KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and provide timely briefings to the Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis or as requested.

We seek an excellent performer who has:
A minimum of five years of Sales/Account Management experience. Professional services and/or service industry experience, and/or construction related knowledge are all preferred.
Proven customer relationship management skills at a senior level.
Strong natural ability to problem solve and bring timely resolution to issues.
Highly collaborative, strong interpersonal, relationship builder.
Strong organizer, planner and time manager. .
Excellent listener/communicator. .
Strong CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel. You may visit customers during the year and possible attendance at a tradeshow. All travel is in the US or Canada. Travel may occur six to ten times per year, for a few days at a time.
This position requires a person who is committed to delivering the highest level of customer service in order to retain and increase the sales volume of every Key Account.
