LKG also work directly with homeowners, business owners and facilities managers. Typically, LKG is working on high-end, private and luxury residences in San Francisco. Among their interesting projects is the new Millennium Towers in San Francisco.
We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Project Manager to run/manage jobs from the office and the field. Most projects are in and around San Francisco.

This is a permanent, salaried, full time position with benefits.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Project Manager will manage and be accountable for the success of projects assigned.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure field staff has the resources needed to complete the projects as scheduled, and on budget.
Track the ongoing project status with QuickBooks or Excel.
Supervise field staff on projects to ensure plans and specifications are being implemented correctly.
Manages man hours to stay within budget, estimates hours needed during course of project, and takes appropriate actions if potential cost overruns are anticipated.
Maintain open daily communications with field staff, clients, and general contractors.
Attend client meetings.
Provide guidance and input to General Contractors, Designers, Architects in regards to electrical code issues and and/or product incompatibilities.
Maintain regular communications with the Operations Manager and client/contractor on project status.
Responsible for regular project cost updates, including documenting change orders and credit memos.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
At least six years of experience as a journeyman Electrician or related experience.
Three to five years as Project Manager in an Electrical Company.
Ability to review and implement electrical plans, specifications, schedules and contract documents.
Knowledge of Electrical Code.
Ability to read and understand the NEC book.
Strong Project Manager skills; highly organized, results oriented.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks estimating and invoicing.
Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
PC Based office: Proficient in Excel and well versed in use and application of MS Word and Outlook.
High attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability and willingness to accept coaching, provide feedback, and commit to continuous improvement for self and the team.
Estimating experience is a plus; not required.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s degree is a plus; not required.
Electrician certification is a plus; not required.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This position requires reliable transportation to visit the job sites in the bay area, multiple times per week.
Job hours are approximately 8.00am to 4.30pm, with occasional flexibility required for project needs.
