SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Introduce a new premium beverage product to the marketplace to develop brand awareness through product placement at upscale retail and on-premise locations. Develop and implement sales strategies. Develop clear metrics that gauge the impact and progress of the business. Prospect new accounts and visit existing accounts on a regular basis. Participate in company marketing and promotional programs with a focus on account development and point-of-sale merchandising. Communicate in reports on a regular basis, information such as: sales figures, trends in the market, barriers to entry, opportunities for sales, resources needed, competition issues, etc. Provide regular and accurate business and market forecasts. Build and maintain relationships with store account owners and managers. Will also work with beverage distributor network. In addition, successful candidates will participate in on-site promotional activities to gain consumer awareness.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years of direct outside sales experience of food or beverage products preferred.
Premium product sales a plus.
Experience in introduction and rolling out a new product is a benefit.
Experience researching and identifying target accounts and decision makers.
Experience developing key accounts and obtaining product placement.
Proven profitable sales achievements.
Proven ability to penetrate new markets.
Good computer skills; Word, Excel PowerPoint .
A proven ability to work to and exceed quota is essential.
Knowledge of premium beverage market and target accounts is beneficial.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred for Sales Representative.
Bachelor's degree required for Sales Manager.
